thaiconnections.com is the internet arm of S.P. Thai Connections Ltd, a registered travel agency and hotel wholesaler located in Bangkok's Sukhumvit area. We are bonded and licensed (with number 11/1952) by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (T.A.T.). This is the governmental body responsible for monitoring tourism related businesses and prosecuting dishonest operators. What's the deal?

check out the hotels listed, choose one that fits your needs and request a reservation. We book the hotel and confirm the reservation to you by way of an accommodation voucher that can be printed and presented upon check in. You benefit from paying significantly less than the hotels walk in rate. If the hotel is fully booked we will suggest an alternative similar in price and location for your consideration.

saving money is important but make sure you choose an hotel that satisfies your needs. We are based in Thailand. Unlike many other on-line operators we truly know the products we're selling. All the hotels listed have their strong and weak points be it location, price, style or facilities. We can help you make a decision that is more than just brochure based. How and when do I get charged?

by Visa or Mastercard debited to our account. Travel plans change frequently so cards will not be debited until two working days before hotel check in date.

Charges are in Thai baht which gets converted to your local currency at the exchange rate on the date of the transaction. For example a bill of 2,000 baht will appear on your statement as US$53.33 should the exchange rate be 37.5 baht to the dollar that day.

Should I use my credit card on the net to book?

Security is an issue but not necessarily a problem. We use an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) order form that is filled in online and stored on a secure server. Only our reservations staff at thaiconnections.com have access to it. Your browser will identify a highlighted lock on the screen indicating the SSL forms presence and a dialog box will open to inform you that you are entering a secure data entry area.

Once an order is processed any credit card reference is deleted from our files.

If wary about ordering through the net the form can be printed off and faxed to the numbers displayed on the Fax/Phone page.

What happens if I cancel?

providing you give us two working days notice before hotel check in date - nothing! Anything later may incur a one night cancellation fee (this is often waived if the hotel is not full), and a credit card processing fee.
